About Connector
Connector is a native iOS VPN client. It lets users add VPN profiles, import VLESS links, import compatible subscription links, check server availability, select a server, connect or disconnect the VPN, and manage connection-related settings.
Connector uses Apple networking and VPN APIs, including Network Extension functionality, to create and manage VPN configurations on the device. The app is designed for users who already have permission to use the VPN profiles or subscription links they import.
Main Features
- Add a manual VLESS VPN profile.
- Import a VLESS profile from a QR code or link.
- Import compatible subscription links that contain VPN profiles.
- Select the active server before connecting.
- Check recent server availability and latency.
- Connect and disconnect the VPN from inside the app.
- Show connection status using native iOS widgets and Live Activities when enabled.
- Configure DNS and split tunneling options when supported by the installed app version.
Getting Started
- Install Connector from the App Store.
- Open the app and add a VPN profile or subscription link that you are authorized to use.
- Select a server from the available profiles.
- Tap Connect VPN.
- Approve the iOS VPN permission prompt when iOS asks to add the VPN configuration.
- Use Disconnect VPN to stop the connection at any time.
Connector cannot connect until iOS has permission to create and start the VPN configuration. This permission is shown by iOS and is required for all VPN apps.
Common Issues
The VPN does not connect
- Check that the selected VPN profile is valid and still active.
- Try another server from the same subscription or profile list.
- Make sure the device has internet access before starting the VPN.
- Open iOS Settings, check VPN status, and remove old duplicate configurations if needed.
- Restart the app and try connecting again.
The server shows as unavailable
- The server may be offline, overloaded, blocked by the current network, or misconfigured.
- Refresh the subscription if your provider has changed the server list.
- Try a different network, such as Wi-Fi instead of cellular data.
QR code scanning is unavailable
- Check that Camera access is enabled for Connector in iOS Settings.
- Make sure the QR code contains a supported VLESS profile or subscription link.
- If scanning is not possible, paste the profile link manually.
Widgets do not update immediately
- iOS controls widget refresh timing to save battery.
- Open Connector once after installing or updating the app so shared widget data is available.
- Remove and add the widget again if iOS keeps showing an old snapshot.
Responsible Use
Connector should be used only with VPN profiles and services you are allowed to access. Users are responsible for following local laws, network rules, workplace policies, and the terms of the VPN service or subscription provider they use.
