Getting Started
What you need before using Connector
Connector is a client app only — it does not come with servers. Before connecting you need a VLESS configuration, which is one of:
- A
vless://link from a server you own or have access to - A subscription URL provided by a service you have signed up for
- A QR code that encodes one of the above
Quick start steps
- Install Connector from the App Store.
- Tap + and import your VLESS config link, QR code, or subscription URL.
- Select a profile from the list.
- Tap Connect and allow the VPN permission when iOS asks.
- Look for the key icon in the status bar — that confirms you're connected.
- Tap Disconnect inside the app to stop the VPN at any time.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is Connector?
What is VLESS / V2Ray?
How do I import a VLESS config link?
You can import a VLESS config in three ways:
- Paste a link: Tap the + button, choose "Import from link", and paste a URL starting with
vless://. - Scan a QR code: Tap the + button, choose "Scan QR code", and point your camera at a VLESS QR code. Allow Camera access when iOS asks.
- Subscription URL: Tap the + button, choose "Add subscription", and paste the subscription URL your provider gave you. Connector will fetch and save all profiles from the subscription.
How do I connect to the VPN?
- Open Connector and make sure you have at least one imported profile.
- Select the profile or server you want to use.
- Tap Connect.
- When iOS asks for permission to add a VPN configuration, tap Allow. You may need to authenticate with Face ID or passcode.
- The VPN icon (a small key) will appear in the iOS status bar when connected.
To disconnect, open the app and tap Disconnect, or use the VPN toggle in iOS Settings.
The app asks for VPN permission — is that normal?
Why won't the VPN connect?
Common reasons and fixes:
- Invalid or expired config: The server address, port, or credentials in your VLESS config may be wrong or have changed. Check with your provider.
- Server is offline or blocked: The server you selected may be temporarily down or blocked by your current network. Try a different profile or network (e.g. switch from Wi-Fi to cellular).
- No internet connection: Connector needs internet access before it can start the VPN tunnel. Make sure you can load a webpage first.
- Stale iOS VPN config: Go to iOS Settings → General → VPN & Device Management → VPN, and remove old Connector entries, then reconnect from the app.
- App needs a restart: Force-close Connector and reopen it, then try connecting again.
How do I update my subscription profiles?
A server shows high latency or is marked unavailable — what does that mean?
The QR code scanner isn't working
- Go to iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera and make sure Connector has Camera access enabled.
- Make sure the QR code is well-lit and contains a valid
vless://link. - If scanning doesn't work, copy the link text and paste it manually using the "Import from link" option.
Does Connector provide VPN servers?
Does Connector collect or log my browsing data?
Will the VPN reconnect automatically if it drops?

If Connector isn't working as expected, go through these steps before contacting support:

- Check that your VLESS config or subscription is valid and up to date.
- Try a different server from your subscription list.
- Switch networks (Wi-Fi ↔ cellular) and try again.

If none of the above helps, email support@connectorclient.online with your iOS version, device model, app version, and what you tried.
Responsible Use
Connector must be used only with VPN configurations you are authorized to access. Users are responsible for complying with local laws, workplace or school network policies, and the terms of any VPN service or subscription they use. Connector does not monitor or filter how the app is used.
